Frames of Preference: How to Train Your Dragon

How to Train Your Dragon movie imageI constantly lament not being able to view films like I did as a young child. Watching things without a critical eye is impossible for me now, but How to Train Your Dragon almost defies criticism. It’s a beautiful, well-acted story of a boy trying to reach greatness. The scenes of soaring flight still make me emotional, and it has one of the best animated film soundtracks of all time. Anyone who thinks that Dreamworks can’t make good films anymore needs to watch this one.
